Its foliage is fragrant with striking red fall color. Very popular. Prefers compost-enriched soil that stays moist. Snip off spent flowering stems at the base or shear tops back to new growth to stimulate rebloom and freshen foliage. Generally does not need division but can be divided in spring or fall if desired.
